It's incredible to see how Balanced Agency, which started as a small venture with a big dream, has now grown into a trusted partner for many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the UK and beyond. This significant growth is a testament to the support and trust of our clients, partners, and team members. To mark this milestone, I am excited to announce some major changes that reflect the evolution of the business and the future direction of the services I offer.

 

A new name, Balanced Marketing, and a renewed focus

As I celebrate the 10th anniversary, I am taking the opportunity to refine my business proposition. The new company name, Balanced Marketing (balanced.marketing), better underscores the value I place on working with SMEs to deliver strategies and campaigns that balance practical and affordable delivery with creativity and innovation. This change isn't just cosmetic; it reaffirms my commitment to providing balanced, effective marketing solutions, ensuring you can always rely on us for your marketing needs.

A fresh new look

I designed a new brand because every so often, a brand refresh can revitalise the entire business, signalling a positive evolution and breathing new life into the company’s identity and market presence. The new website, with its focus on my core services — brand design, website design and development, content creation, and marketing strategy — reflects this refinement, ensuring a comprehensive and cohesive approach to meeting our clients' needs.


The new Wix Studio platform opens up a realm of creative possibilities for designers and developers. It allows us to create highly bespoke, visually striking websites with advanced design capabilities and intuitive tools. Its robust features and flexible framework enable seamless integration of multimedia, interactive elements, and dynamic content, empowering users to push the boundaries of web design and deliver unique, engaging user experiences. The journey: Highs, lows, and everything in between

Running a business comes with its highs and lows, much hard work, sleepless nights, but also a great deal of fun and very rewarding moments. Reflecting on the past decade, there have been countless challenges, from navigating economic uncertainties to keeping up with the ever-evolving digital landscape. Not least was the challenge of running a business independently during Covid. Yet, each challenge has been a learning opportunity, pushing me to innovate and adapt.

 

A Snapshot of Just a Few Recent Projects

Over the past decade, this journey has been shaped by the incredible clients I've had the pleasure of working with. Here are just a few.

 

  • Melius Pharma: For Melius Pharma, we developed a compelling logo and brand identity that resonates both internally and externally. Our design has become a symbol of their commitment to quality and innovation in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • RJW&partnersWorking closely with RJW&partners, I updated their online presence by redesigning their website, leading to a significant increase in visitors and leads. The new visual elements we introduced have been integrated into all aspects of their branding and communications.

  • Origami Energy: I partnered with Origami Energy to enhance their digital marketing strategy, focusing on developing a new brand and website to improve stakeholder engagement and information dissemination. An iterative approach ensured continuous progress and alignment with their goals.

 

The projects highlighted in the online case studies were managed with care, on time, and on budget. Some involved short-term initiatives like brand refreshes and website overhauls. Others utilised Fractional Marketing services, offering clients ongoing support without needing a full-time hire.
